The idea for the Get Involved Podcast was born on the sidelines of the pitches of Ratoath GAA. In the Royal County of Meath, Ireland.

Wes Killoran and Michael Gibson are two lads that went to school with each other in Catholic University School (CUS).

Well maybe a little bit more chubby and less hair, I speak for Michael of course!

The idea for the Get Involved Podcast was born on the sidelines of the pitches of Ratoath GAA. In the Royal County of Meath, Ireland.

Wes Killoran and Michael Gibson are two lads that went to school with each other in Catholic University School (CUS).

They finished up in CUS in 1994. They didn’t have any contact with each other until they met up at Ratoath GAA. It was then they realised both their sons were on the same GAA team.

Fast forward to a few years later and the lads decided that they would get involved with the GAA. They took up a position as Mentors.

A year later they decided that their craic and banter was so good that it should be made available to the rest of the world.

The Get Involved Podcast is a lot about the guys and what strikes them about daily life in the 21st Century. But they also have guests on that give an insight into alternative ways of life and differing interests.

The podcast started back in November 2021 and at the time of writing is currently on 44 Episodes.
