What you will need to make this Cajun Chicken Pasta – I never weigh anything so I am going to say use your own judgement when doing quantities.
- Chicken Fillets
- Tub of Fresh Cream
- Cajun Spices
- Pasta of choice
- Veggies of Choice
Half cook the pasta and place to one side
Fry off the chorizo and when it has started to release it’s oil then add in the chicken and fry them both until the chicken has started to brown.
I then add in the veggies – normally I go for baby sweetcorn, peppers and sometimes broccoli.
I then add the Cajun Spice (about 2 teaspoons) mix and stir. This is followed by the cream and stirred again.
Lastly I add the half cooked pasta and leave the entire pot to simmer for about 10 minutes with the lid on the pot. And there you have it Cajun Chicken Pasta all ready to go.
I have to be honest and tell you that I love this with some homemade brown bread to soak up the gorgeous sauce at the end!
